Michele DeMarco Wilkie – COO

Michele takes the lead on applying systems theory, creating program materials, and oversees operations, design, and technology. Michele’s areas of formal expertise include individual advising, group facilitation, program development, and conflict resolution. She co-created the Archos Model with husband Bill Wilkie.

Michele holds a BA in Theology from Boston College (magna cum laude), a MA in Religion and Culture from Boston University (summa cum laude), a Masters of Spiritual Counseling from the New Seminary in NYC, a certificate in Conflict Transformation: Conflict, Ethics, and Culture via an academic consortium comprising Harvard, Weston, EDS, BC and BU divinity schools, a certificate in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Woodbury College, and has done graduate work in systems and relational therapy at Antioch University Graduate School.

She is a Certified Mediator, a registered Guardian ad Litem, and an ordained Interfaith Minister via the State of New York. Earlier in life, she was a Marketing Director for leading architectural firms in San Francisco, Portland, and Cambridge. Michele has an ongoing interest in the cultural factors effecting the resilience of individuals and communities, writes mystery fiction, adores travel, and is a Jane Austen freak.

A young survivor of two freak heart attacks, she is also the lead author of Spirit Wellness, Living Proof, Sustainable Spirit, and the creator of Build Pathways for Peace. Her blog is Naked Spirit.
